A
It is highly probable that a disease suffered commonly by relatives is hereditary. However, being worried or despairing would get you nowhere. Let us grasp the way to prevent the disease through the teachings of Kami.
Being free of illness and disease does not denote good health.
The more human beings live life supported by the teachings, their kokoro anchor and the thoughts to live to give back deepen.
They will become aware of the truth of the spiritual world, and come to see what it means to live.
They will treat people and things with their kokoro, get inspired, and be able to live by love that is the truth.
This is when human beings have confidence to live, with their kokoro and body in harmony.
Human beings with this kokoro are what the true health is all about.
When we seek to be healthy, the most important thing to keep in mind is to have a healthy kokoro. When we have the teachings of Kami as the mainstay of our life, we will be able to live with a calm and peaceful kokoro, rather than anxiety or hopelessness. Begin by communicating your thoughts to your family members. When you make conversations with your family members with an open mind, your kokoro will anchor and you will have latitude in your feelings. Then you will come to see that you are not living your life only for your sake, although your life belongs to you. You will see that you are able to live because of the numerous supports you receive. Therefore, gratitude towards your surroundings will spring forth in you, and the will to be of use to others will begin to blossom.
The Kokoro alive with such a will to live is the true state of being healthy that should be sought for. When our kokoro is healthy, then in correlation, our physical health will naturally be protected. This is the most reliable preventive measure.
In addition, as part of Hito no Michi, it is better to have screenings for the disease on a regular basis.
