After Purchasing a Land, I’ve Been Suffering a Series of Accidents

We bought a land to build a house for the family to live in. Soon after, I had an accident, and on another day, my husband almost got into an accident. I am worried that the decision to purchase the land was a mistake. (Female in her 30s)

Accidents do not occur just because you bought a land. When you try to make a big change in your environment, your kokoro tends to become unstable and it becomes easier for your weaknesses to surface. And this makes it easier for you to get sick or get into accidents.

When something happens, it is important to look back and reflect yourself and see if you are living in a way that is in sync with Kami’s teachings. In the case of purchasing land, we calmly consider whether the family’s thoughts were together with the decision, whether the plan was exceeding your financial abilities, whether your mortgage is repayable, and whether there is enough room to deal with unforeseen circumstances.

At the same time, it is necessary to create a harmonious family so that we do not get caught up in changes in the environment.

Try to keep the kokoro of wa (peace) among the family especially when you are trying to change any of your time, place, and position.
Husband and wife must get along, and parents and children should engage in mutual conversation to build a family.
A home where wa (peace) exists, helps you overcome the environmental changes and turn them into a favorable change

In the course of human life, the environment changes in various ways over time. If the family structure and position change, there might be a time when changes of the living environment is necessary. Along with this, the thoughts of each family member also fluctuate to a greater or lesser extent each time.

However, no matter what kind of changes may occur, if you live together as a family with Kami’s teachings as your support, and if you communicate your true feelings with each other, you will not draw in disasters and there will be no major problems.

It is important to take this as an opportunity to notice your own shortcomings, correct them, and avoid repeating them.
